After his death, she married second to Matthew Carney on 3 January 1874 in Wetzel County, W. Virginia. Levina wrote a will on 23 September 1877 and probably died shortly afterwards.

A visit to this cemetery in June 2014 confirmed that there is no legible marker for Levina. There are some illegible markers and one of these may be hers. Therefore, there is no inscription available.
