Mrs. Lutie Dorman Parker died at the Community Hospital Nursing in Loris Friday morning after an illness of several months. Funeral services were held Saturday at 3:30 pm at the Mr. Leon Baptist Church, with the Rev. J. Robert Carter and the Rev. R.B. Carter officiating.

Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were Elwood Dorman, Marden O. Dorman, Hoover Dorman, John Dorman and Elwood Whittington.

Mrs. Parker was born in Horry County October 18, 1890, daughter of the late John Dorman and Mrs. Mamie Lewis Dorman.

She was a member of Mt. Leon Baptist Church.

She was married to Alphonso F. Parker, who died January 14, 1962.

Surviving are two sons, Alton Parker of Loris, A.D. Parker of Rt. 1 Longs; two daughters, Mrs. Don Cox of Kingstree and Mrs. Lucille Williamson of Wichita Falls TX; three brothers, Howard Dorman of Conway, Guthrie Dorman of Tabor City NO, and Hallie Dorman of Longs.
