Noah Cox, 87, died July 5, 2003, at his residence in Eupora.
Mr. Cox, a retired painter and farmer, was born in Choctaw County on Jan. 26, 1916. He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Eupora.
Survivors include his wife, Bartelle Rowe Cox of Eupora; four daughters, Barbara Cox Danciger of Memphis, Tenn. Sue Cox Hanes of Scottsville, Ky., Brenda Cox Quisenberry of Southaven and Angela Cox Cruise of Eupora; one sister, Mary Kathleen Cowart of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services were July 7 at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sam Edwards officiating. Burial was in Providence Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Othel Hester, Mike Lusk, Harold Rowe, Mike Moore, Calvin Crimm, Tim Rowe and Mike Lyle.
Honorary pallbearers were Cliff Browning, Larry Powell and George Salley.
