MRS. NOVELLA FRETWELL
Funeral services for Mrs. Novella Fretwell, 67, Town Creek 1, who died Friday, April 28 at Lawrence County Hospital , were Saturday, April 29 at 2 p.m. at Cave Springs Freewill Baptist Church . Rev. Ron Edgil officiating, with burial in the adjoining cemetery, Elliott Funeral home directing.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Louise Burks, Mrs. Eloise Houston, both of Town Creek 3; Mrs. Nadine Appleton, Decatur; Mrs. Ruby Meadows, Bessemer ; Mrs. Sybil Nesmith, Town Creek 1; three sisters, Mrs. Izella Pearson, Mrs. Pearl Mitchell, Mrs. Lassie Lipscomb, all of Moulton; one brother, Austin Bradford, Bessemer; eight grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Roger Houston, Donald Burks, Robert Morris, Scotty Appleton, Jimmy Appleton, Tommy Ennis and Terry Harrison.
Mrs. Fretwell was a member of Cave Springs Freewill Baptist Church and a member of the Hatton Eastern Star Chapter, 482.
