Illness Fatal To Mrs. Louis Ahrens Here On Sunday
Mrs. Louis Ahrens, nee Lenora Luecke, passed away Sunday afternoon at 1:05 o'clock at the home, 1215 Huron avenue, after ailing for the past eight months. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Ballhorn Funeral Temple, and at 2 o'clock at Trinity Lutheran church. Rev. Karl Schultz will have charge of the services and burial will be made in Lutheran cemetery.
Friends may view the body at Ballhorn Funeral Temple beginning Tuesday noon.
Deceased was born January 16, 1895, in town of Herman, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Luecke. She attended the parochial school at Trinity church, Howards Grove, and was confirmed there at the age of 14. She lived with her father on his farm until June 24, 1922, when she was married to Louis Ahrens at the Lutheran church in Howards Grove. Since her marriage she has resided in Sheboygan.
She was taken ill last fall and underwent an operation, but she never regained her health.
Survivors are her husband, her father, Fred Luecke, town of Herman; five brothers, Edgar, Walter and Victor of town of Herman, and Herbert and Paul of Sheboygan; three sisters, Mrs. Milton Bramstedt of Fond du Lac, Mrs. Michael Greenwald and Mrs. Maurice Lickermann of Sheboygan.
