Sulon Benson Kivett, age 92, of 609 Holly Street, Asheboro died Sunday, January 14, 2001 at 609 Holly Street, Asheboro. Mr. Kivett was the son to the late James and the late Sally (Nance) Kivett.

Mr. Kivett had retired as a Supervisor with Acme McCrary after 45 years of service. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Alice Hughes Kivett of the home;son and daughter-in-law, Odell B. & Ann M. Kivett of Asheboro, NC, son and daughter-in-law, Allen E. Kivett & Vira R. Kivett of Greensboro, NC, granddaughters: Marty Richardson of Greensboro, NC and Vickie Durham of Asheboro, NC, grandson, Benny Kivett of Asheboro, NC, 5 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 7-9 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2:00 at First United Methodist Church, 224 North Fayetteville Street, Asheboro with Dr. Boyd Stokes officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, Asheboro.
