Thomas Jeavons, age 32 years a former resident of this borough, died in Philadelphia on Thursday evening of typhoid fever. Deceased had been ill for about a week. Jeavons was an Electrical Engineer and resided in this borough until about two years ago when he removed to Philadelphia. He was a member of the local Y.M.C.A. and took a great interest in athletics. He was considered one of the best Football Players in the association. He is survived by his widow.
