Funeral services were held Tuesday for Henry C. Schafer from the chapel of the Danekas and Duncan funeral home in Ritzville. The Rev. Alfred Carter officiated. Interment was in Ritzville Memorial cemetery. Schafter passed away Sept. 27 at the Adams Count Memorial hospital. He had resided at his ranch near Ritzville for the past 67 years. He was born at Bickelton, Wash., 72 years ago.
Schafer is survived by one daugher, Mrs. Aaron Braun of Ritzville; one son, Ivan Schafer of Ritzville; three brothers, Joe Schafer and Elmer Schafer both of Ritzville and Conrad Schafer of Spokane and six grandchildren.
