Mrs. Earl Emo Adams died September 11, 1974 in Okeene Hospital. Services were held September 14, in the Hitchcock United Methodist Church with the Rev. C.M. Rosser officiating. Interment was in the IOOF Cemetery, Watonga under the direction of Landes Funeral Home. Mrs. Adams was born September 17, 1891 in Marble, Arkansas to James and Lillie Morris. She was married to Edward Adams January 31, 1909 at Omega. She lived most of her life in Blaine County and was an active member of the Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Willie Thomas Adams in 1946 and her husband in 1958. Survivors include: one grandson, Billy D. Adams, Scottsdale, AZ four great-grandchildren, Stephen, Michael, Deborah and Cheryl and one great-great-grandson, Eric; three sisters, Lora B. White, El Reno, OK., Jennie Mae Opdenhoff, Watonga, and Alta Wehmeyer, Billingham, Washington; two brothers, James, Rockaway, Ore., and Stanley, Kennewick, Washington; several nieces and nephews including Mrs. Fern Morgan, Watonga.
