Edith Catherine Holt, 85, of Paragould, died Monday, August 24, 2009, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center.
Mrs. Holt was born March 2, 1924, in Paragould, to Joe and Laura Norton. She was a member of the First Assembly of God and a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Maurice Holt of the home; two nieces, Barbara Walker and Pat Clark, both of Paragould; two nephews, Fred Spears of Little Rock and Aubrey Spears of Klamath Falls, Oregon; and a special friend, Luther Cummings of Paragould.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Alfred Norton.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 26th, at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel, Paragould, with Shannon Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery.
