She was born in Bethlehem, Ky., the daughter of Eddie Francis and Lucy Craig Herrell Meek. She had worked at Brunswick Corp. and as a nurse's aide at New Castle Sanitorium. She was member of the American Police CB Patrol and attended Union Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Linden Paul Booth of Madison, Rodney Thomas Booth of Milton, Ky., and Jerry Elliott Booth of Shelbyville, Ky.; two daughters, Frances L. Kelley of Eminence, Ky., and Barbara Hembree of Madison; one step daughter, Claudette Abrams Kirby of Midland, Texas; seven grandchildren; one step granddaughter; seven great-grandchildren; and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lawrence Elliot Booth and Mendall Abrams; one step son, Jerry Lynn Abrams; one sister, Syble Roberts; two brothers, Tommy Meek and Kenneth Meek; and two grandsons.
The funeral was at Sholar Funeral Home in Pleasureville, Ky. Burial was in Pleasureville Cemetery in Pleasureville, Ky.
