Timothy R. Kalka, 50, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2009, at his home.
Tim was born on March 15, 1959, to Richard and Nancy (Rutan) Kalka who precedes him in death.
He was a graduate of Start High School and RETS.
Tim was a "buddy" with the Challenger Leagues Baseball for many years until he was unable to get around.
When he was able to travel he loved attending games and tournaments that his sons and daughters competed in. Tim also enjoyed fishing and just spending time with his wife and children watching TV or just enjoying each other's company. Tim was regarded by his family as their "rock" always there to lend a helping hand or moral support.
Surviving to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 24 years, Bonnie (Taylor) Kalka, children Heather, Tiffany, Greggory and Joshua Kalka and sister, Cindy; plus many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation for Tim will be held at Gasiorowski-Hanneman Funeral Home & Crematory, 1757 Tremainsville Rd. (at Sylvania) from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2009. Funeral services will be on Thursday, July 30, 2009 10:15 a.m. from the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Catherine Church at 11 a.m. Interment services will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
