Services for Emmitt Wade "Goob" Lilley, Jr., 26, of Woodville, were held Friday, December 11, 1987, at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Benthall officiating. Burial was held at Campground Cemetery. He passed away December 8, 1987.

He lived in Woodville all of his life and was a graduate of Woodville High School.

Survivors include his mother, Frances Lilley of Woodville; brothers, Bobby Lilley of Anahuac, Floyd, Mickie, Rickie, and Roger Lilley all of Woodville; sister, Katharan Milner of Colmesneil; nephews, John, Dwayne, and Clark Lilley, Billy Robert Milner, and Ryan Winters; nieces, Lisa Abshire, Carolyn Milner, Rachel Winters, and Chrissy Abshire.

Pallbearers were Rodger Lilley, Danny Licon, Dale Sowell, David Abshire, Micah Bass, and Terry Mitcham. Honorary pallbearers were David Fortenberry, Ralph Winters, Bruce Bass, Rickey Winters, Jimmy Broom, and all of his friends.
