Paul Elton Studard, 76, of Lenox, died Monday, January 3, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

He was a farmer, member of National Guard from 1951-1956, member and Chairman of Deacons at Finley Baptist Church, lifetime resident of Lenox, member of Board of Directors of Northwest Dyersburg Utility District, one of the founders of Lenox Fire Department, where he served as Fire Chief, a First Responder, attended Men's Morning Prayer Service, was a wonderful husband and father and the best grandfather.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Halliburton and Bro. Don Williams officiating. Entombment will be at Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Anna Frances Studard of Lenox; a daughter, Janet Fowlkes and husband, John, of Lenox; a son, Brad Studard and wife, Vickie, of Lenox; three grandchildren, Rachel Fowlkes, Luke Studard and Will Studard, all of Lenox; and a special family friend, Ted Weaver of Lenox.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Pauline House Studard.

Pallbearers will be members of Lenox Volunteer Fire Department.

The family requests that memorials may be directed to the Paul Studard Volunteer Fire Department Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 370, Dyersburg, TN 38025.
