William Lois "Willie" Thompson was born Sept. 19, 1917, the son of George Erskin & Jessie Lee (Tomlinson) Thompson. Willie married Dorothy Pearl Hamilton May 25, 1940 in Oktibbeha County, Mississippi. Dorothy was born Oct. 7, 1921, the daughter of Thomas Albert & Sallie Izora (Douglas) Hamilton. Willie & Dorothy were the parent's of four children. Bonnie Sue, Willie Lois Jr., Dorothy Kay, and Donald George Thompson.
