Anne Robinson Austin Davidson, 92, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010, surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Davidson was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Alan Davidson. She is survived by five children, Alan and Rosa Lee Davidson of Greensboro, NC, Andrew Davidson, MD and Mary F. Davidson of New Bern, NC, Anne D. and Stroud Tilley of New Bern, James P. and Rebecca Davidson of Lillington, NC and Robert S. and Nicole Davidson of Pembroke Pines, FL.
She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Anne Davidson of Marietta, GA, Nancy D. Christie of Nantucket, MA, Alan Davidson IV of Charlotte, NC, James Davidson of New York, New York, Patrick Davidson of Greensboro, NC, Drew Davidson of Brentwood, PA, Jeanne H. Croy of Middletown, CT, Elizabeth Davidson of Lillington, NC, Sandra Katharine Davidson of Lillington, NC and Caroline Tilley of Durham, NC.
In addition, she is survived by four great-grandchildren. She has one living brother, Roswell M. Austin Jr., from Smithfield, Queensland, Australia.
Visitation will be at Cotten Funeral Home from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 22, with funeral mass on Thursday, September 23 at 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church with interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
