She was born on the homestead farm on Aug. 28, 1883, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Wichmann. She attended the district school and on March 26, 1907, was married to George Thede in New Holstein. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and the Women's Guild of that same congregation.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at St. John's. The Rev. Charles Koch, pastor, will be in charge of services and burial will be in New Holstein City Cemetery. Friends may call at the Erbe-Hoffmann Funeral Home in New Holstein from 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon until 10 o' c 1 o c k Wednesday morning, and then at the church until time of services.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Zeno (Mildred) Pfeiffer, of rural New Holstein, and Mrs. Julius (Marion) Henschel, of Elkhart Lake; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Louisa Fuhrman, of Peshtigo, and Mrs. Minnie Kingston, of Cudahy.
Preceding her in death were her husband, who died on Sept. 11, 1953, two sisters and two brothers.
