Mrs. Kennedy was born in Turner County and was the daughter of the late H.H. "Bo" and Carrie Belle Little Rainey. She was a member of the Ashburn 1st United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Griffin-Saxon Sunday School Class and Circle #5. She was a retired accountant.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas D. Kennedy, Sr., Sycamore, Ga.; three sons Steve Mauldin, Sycamore, Ga., David Mauldin, Valdosta, Ga. and Tim Saylor, Sycamore, Ga.; two daughters, Pam Hawk, Sycamore, Ga. and Cathy Saylor Bodrey, Ashburn.; two step daughters, Lydia Kay Kennedy, Marietta, Ga., Sherry Kennedy Evans, Vienna, Ga. and one step son, Thomas D. Kennedy, Jr., Denver, Colorado. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren and two sisters, Loy McCard, Milledgeville, Ga. and Arlyn Mashburn, Madisonville, Kentucky.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 7:00-9:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
