Died at Pomfret, on the 7th inst., Captain Amasa Sessions, in the 84th year of his age. In 1755 he raised a respectable company in Connecticut, at the expense and for the service of Rhode Island, which he afterwards commanded at Lake George, under Sir William Johnson.
