MARION, Ky. Services for James Doom, 30, of Marion will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Seven Springs Baptist Church in Marion with the Revs. Donnie Howton, Kenny Bowman, Robert Blake and Lonnie Knight officiating. Burial will be at Frances Cemetery in Crittenden County.
Mr. Doom died at 1 a.m. Friday at his home. He was a former employee of LWD in Calvert City. He was a member of Seven Springs Baptist Church and Dycusburg Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are his wife, Laura Doom; two sons, Alex Doom and Austin Doom, both of Marion; his mother, Wanda Doom of Marion; his father, James Doom Sr. of Marion; his stepfather, Frank Cole of Marion; his stepmother, Mary Louise Doom of Marion; one brother, Russell A. Doom of Marion; one sister, Pamela R. Walker of Grand Rivers; and six stepbrothers and stepsisters.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday at Gilbert Funeral Home and from noon until the funeral hour on Tuesday at the church.
