William C. Gardner, 63, Draper valley, died Saturday night at Pulaski hospital.

Surviving are his wife Mrs. Pertha Sawyers Gardner; two sons, Grover A. Gardner, Pulaski, and Sherman C. Gardner, Draper; five daughters, Mrs. Clarence Webb, Allisonia, Miss Goldie Gardner and Mrs. Clyde Lawson, and Miss Emogene Gardner, Draper, Mrs. John Lawson, Salem; two brothers, James L. Gardner, Portland, Ore., Melvin Gardner, Hillsville; three sisters, Mrs. Heath Padgett, Barren Spring, Mrs. Albert Cregger, Mt Airy, N. C., and Mrs. Charles Wright, Nokesville.

Services will be conducted by the Rev. B. P. Edwards assisted by the Rev. P. O. Sartelle, Monday at 3 p.m. at Draper Valley Presbyterian church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be moved from Strickler's funeral home to the church at 2 p.m. Active pallbearers will include Burleigh Horton, Charley Alexander, Billy Selts, Benton Sayers, Wesley Armbrister and Ephram Sayers.
