H. P. YADON was born in Adair county, Missouri on October 11, 1846. He departed this life January 12, 1929 at the home of his son, J. E. YADON, of the New Hope community. At the time death came, this aged man was 82 years, 3 months and 1 day of age.

He was the son of Silas and Manilla YADON. He was married to Susan PIERCE in 1867. To this union 11 children were born, nine of whom are living. They are Bertha TALBERT and Fannie WESTERN of Williamsville, Missouri; Cora DONALD, Hazelton, Missouri; John YADON, Beach, North Dakota; Elmer YADON, Superior, Wisconsin; James YADON, Perryton; Clarence YADON, Kirkland, Missouri; Henry YADON, Yates Center, Missouri; Ollie TIMMONS, Superior, Wisconsin. He also leaves four brothers and one sister, two half-sisters, one half-brother, twenty-five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at the Baptist church in this city on last Monday afternoon by Rev. C. Lex Shelby after which the remains were laid to rest in the Ochiltree cemetery.
