OBITUARY OF JAMES ELBERT YADON

Funeral Services were held Saturday afternoon, September 20, in the First Baptist Church for James Elbert YADON, who died on September 15 at Rochester, Minnesota, where he had gone for medical treatment.

W. C. Bryan conducted the final Services. The George sisters sang two songs and Carl Cade sang a solo at the Funeral.

YADON had lived in Ochiltree county since 1927, coming to this county as a farmer. He was working for the natural gas pipeline company at Gray at the time of his fatal illness.

Survivors besides his widow include two children, Burdeen YADON and Mrs. Susie TREMBLE. Both of Perryton; four brothers, John, Henry and Clarence of Kirksville, Wisconsin, and Elmer of Superior, Wisconsin; two sisters, Mrs. Ollie TIMMONS of Superior, Wisconsin And Mrs. Elmer PIERCE of Licking, Missouri.

James Elbert YADON was born on June 17, 1884 to H. P. and Susan YADON. He was married to Edna FURNISH on October 31, 1905 and to this union five children were born, three of whom preceded him in death.

He grew to manhood around Green Top, Missouri, and came to Texas on December 11, 1927, and had lived in Ochiltree County since that time.

He was 63 years of age at the time of his death.
