He lived in this Town (Wales) till 1837, then removed to Brimfield, Ohio, was there summoned to his rest. His homestead, which is deservedly called the "Alvin Needham Place", was and is upon the South Road to Monson, and upon either side of the Town line, but mostly in this Town; the dwelling now thereon, which was erected by him, stands tenerado, more or less, on this Town side of Monson line. It will not be too eulogistic to say - If, in general morality, strict integrity, and all the moral elements of respectability, better men have lived in the Town than he, it is believed they have him 'like angels' visits, few and far between"
