Funeral services for Alexander Miller, 85, who died Monday at his home were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Philadelphia Congreational church with the Rev. R. Kirschenmann officiating, Burial will be in the Ritzville Memorial cemetery.

Miller was born Nov. 10, 1879, in Kolkb, Russia and came to the United States 48 years ago. Two years after arriving he moved to the Ritzville area where he farmed until retiring in town in 1928.

Surviving are the widow, Valijia; two sons, Peter of Ritzville and Henry of Sunnyside; four daughters. Mrs. Anna Miller and Mrs. Mary Webb, both of Ritzville, Mrs. Lydia Cunningham of Seattle and Mrs. Emma LaBelle of Spokane, 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren
