Womack Funeral Held On Friday At Cooper
Funeral services for O. R. Womack, 73, who died at his home here Thursday were held at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Methodist Protestant church conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Copeland. Burial was at Oaklawn cemetery here.
Mr. Womack, who was born in Mississippi is survived by three brothers, W. R. Womack of Paris, Tom Womack of Washington, Miss., and J. A. Womack of Cooper; and a sister, Mrs. A. Stewart of Cooper.
Mr. Womack came to Cooper at the age of 21. He taught school in the county for 20 years and was justice of the peace for four years.

Oliver's parents were John Oliver Womack (1836 Georgia - 1875 Choctaw County, Mississippi), and Hannah Elizabeth Crow Womack (1839 Alabama - after 1900 in Texas).
