A veteran of World War 1 serving as a Private in the US Army. He is my Grandfather Brink. Son of William Henry and Lena Hillman Brink. Married Ella Mae Emma Alice Kruwell on October 20, 1920. Father of Walter Louis Brink (1921-1989), my Mother - Dorothy Mae Brink Osborne (1923-1993), Eleanor Ethel Brink Stark (1924-2008), Mildred Marie Brink Lucas (1926-1988), Lawrence Leo Brink (1927-1937), Ruth Caroline Brink Giltner Postma (1933-2022) and Jack William Brink (1936-2007).

Walter F. Brink, 56, former Indianapolis' resident and veteran of World War 1, died Wednesday in the Veterans Hospital at Dayton, O.
Born in Indianapolis, Mr. Brink was a former member of the Lutheran Church and the American Legion. He had been ill since April.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a. m. in Dayton, with burial there.
Six children, four grandchildren, a brother and a sister survive.
