Son of Edmund & Betsey Ann Avery Fish.Retired Banker and ex-Vice Commodore of the New York Yact Club.Entered the Civi War first in the 7th New York Infantry in 1861.Corporal in the 9th New York Infantry(Hawkins Zouaves).Captain in the 174th New York Infantry.Was a member of the Banking firm,Vermilye & Company until its dissolution in April 1903.Then became a member of Mackay & Company Bankers.Retired from Banking February 1,1909.
