Devon Lannie Morris, age 69 died August 14, 2009 at Community Hospice in Vidalia,GA. Mr. Morris was a longtime resident of Pembroke and a Marine Corp veteran. He was also retired from Civil Service having worked at the Armory on Ft. Stewart. He was of the Baptist faith and loved to take care of the animals at Gabby's Grooming.
He is survived by 3 brothers , Lenwood Morris, of Claxton, Robert Lovin Morris of Rincon, and Raymond Morris of Glendora, CA. ; 1 sister, Emmie Sue Middleton of Hinesville.
He was a victim of homicide.
