Funeral services will be on Monday, Aug. 24, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. in the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, with the Rev. Tomm Byrtus officiating. Interment will be in the Red Rose Cemetery, Waterford. Visitation will be on Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault and also on Monday for one hour prior to the services.
Kathryn Ann, the daughter of Paul G. and Kathryn M. (Karow) Turner, was born Feb. 28, 1949, in Faribault. She graduated with the class of 1967 from Faribault Senior High School. She attended Anchor Hospital School of Nursing and obtained her Register Nurse degree. Kathryn owned CDA Associates and was a nursing home consultant. Later she was employed by Cannon Falls Medical Center. She enjoyed spending time traveling to the mountains and beaches with her son. She also enjoyed reading, her dog, Dixie, and being with family and friends.
She is survived by a son, Corey D. Anhalt of Good Thunder; her parents, Paul and Kathyrn Turner of Faribault and two sisters, Dianne (and Jerry) Barta and LaVonne Leibeg all of Medford; nieces; nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey P. Anhalt, and nephew, Matthew A. Barta.
