Born Oct. 23, 1927 in Adams County, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Hazel (Riggel) Kimple. Her husband was the late Wendall Naugle, who died in 2001.
Mrs. Naugle was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Buchanan Valley. She had been a housekeeper for many families in the Gettysburg Area for many years, also she had been employed by Adams County National Bank in Cashtown for 10 years. Her memberships included Adams County Fish and Game, Blue Ridge Sportsmen Association, Fairfield AmVets Auxiliary, Buchanan Valley Fire Co. and the Cashtown Fire Co. Auxiliary.
Surviving are three daughters, Mary H. Naugle and her husband Ed of Fayetteville, Henrietta J. Walker and her husband Dick of Orrtanna, Jane M. Fleming and her husband Ron of Orrtanna; two sons, Gregg Naugle and his wife Deb of Orrtanna, Brian Naugle of Orrtanna; 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Geraldine Deardorff of Orrtanna, Margaret Hippenstell and her husband George of Orrtanna, Helen Sharrah and her husband Richard of Orrtanna; a brother, Robert Kimple and his companion Sandra Spence of Orrtanna. She was predeceased by two sons, John Staub and Randy Naugle; a daughter, Terry Staub; a granddaughter, Lee Ann Miller; and two brothers, James and Henry Kimple.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, Dec. 31, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Buchanan Valley with Fr. Kenneth Smith, celebrant. Interment will be in St. Ignatius Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ryan Naugle, Justin Naugle, Matthew Naugle, William Miller Jr., Robert Miller, Richard Walker II and Kevin Naugle.
