LOGAN, UTAH : Minnie Poulsen, 88, of Logan, died April 28, 2004 at the Logan Regional Hospital from causes due to age.

She was born March 26, 1916 in Petersboro, Utah a daughter of James M. and Laura Knudsen Poulsen. She attended school in Petersboro and graduated from South Cache High School. Following the death of her father, Minnie, and her sister and mother operated their family farm in Petersboro for nine years before moving to Logan. She had been employed in sales and management at Janets, Keith OBriens, The Bon Marche, The Bluebird and eventually retiring from Presto Products in Lewiston.

Minnie never married, but still leaves behind generations of cousins, extended families and a hose of friends that loved and adored her. She will long be remembered for her poise and dignity and the beautiful way she kept herself and her home.

Minnie was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Laura, brother-in-law, Leland Hansen and an older brother, Orval.

A special thanks to Dr. Ed Redd for his personal care during some very special times and to Bernell and Joye Hansen and their family for looking after Minnie for the last 20 years.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 am in the Allen-Hall Mortuary. Friends may call at the mortuary one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Wellsville City Cemetery.
