Mrs. Carter was born May 8, 1914 in Stamps, Arkansas. She died August 20, 2009 in Minden.
She was a resident of Doyline since 1948 and was the oldest living member of Point Chapel Assembly of God Church. She led her family by a sound Christian example and she lived a good life.
She was preceded in death by her husbands; Marlin "Rip" Beck, Melvin "Curly" Stewart and Duncan "Dunc" Carter; two sons Willie O'Neal Beck and Melvin Etsel Stewart; two granddaughters Cindy Shoumaker and Stacy Lynn Craig; sisters Pauline Stephenson and Lona Fish; brothers Pete Adams, June Adams, and Bill Adams
Left to cherish her memories are two sons; Charles "Dugan" Stewart (Bennye) of Doyline, George "Kenny" Stewart (Dawn) of Dubberly; one daughter Ruby Mitchell Dodez of Doyline; daughter-in-law Wanda Stewart of Doyline; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, fifteen great-great-grandchildren, and many, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons; Tony Stewart, Chuck Stewart, Scott Stewart, Richard Mitchell, David Mitchell, and Kenneth Michael Stewart.
Honorary pallbearer will be her grandson Todd Stewart
