Born Nov. 6, 1921, he was one of 12 children of Casper & Pauline Kasubjak.
He grew up on 12th street in Clinton, attended Sacred Heart School through eighth grade and graduated from Clinton High School in 1940.
He learned to be a carpenter at the CCC camp located at Turkey Run and helped build the inn there.
He served in World War II as a Seebee in the Pacific and European Theaters, and was awarded the bronze star.
On Aug. 17, 1046, he married Lena Osmon and they had three daughters, Margaret Anne, Pamela Sue and Marian Elizabeth.
Survivors include two daughters and three sisters.
