The Springdale News
July 2, 1910
William Bailey, aged 78 years, died of dropsy in Eureka Springs Friday.
He had been ailing for the past six months. He went to the springs sometime ago for treatment but failed to find any relief. He came to the section in early days and growing up with the country established for himself a name for uprightness and honesty not to be excelled.
He raised a large family and in the training of his children he leaves a standing tribute to his usefulness as a citizen. His body was buried Sunday in the Martin Johnson graveyard south of this place.
Thank to Jennifer Horner for the Obit.
