She was born Jan 17, 1864, in Montgomery county, O, the daughter of Abraham Landis and Julian (Troxel) Landis.
Her marriage to Levi Dubbs took place Sept 10, 1882. He died in 1937.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs John Gressley of Huntington, Mrs Harry Warner and Mrs. David L Wade of Elkhart, Mrs Ben Wise, Bristol; a son, Raymond Dubbs of Goshen; 29 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren.
The body was taken from the Lienhart Funeral Home to the home in Elkhart where friends called. The funeral was at 12 noon at the home and 2:30 pm at the Shock Church, 14 miles south of Columbia City. The Rev. Sam Longnecker, pastor of the Nappanee Church of the Brethren, officiated. Burial was in Shock cemetery.
Mrs Dubbs was the mother-in-law of Mrs Sam Dubbs of Wakarusa.
