Lemual Waydelle Hill was born March 13, 1904 in Looney (11 miles Southeast of Hollis), Greer County (now Harmon County), Oklahoma. He was born the 12th child of 14 children born to James Overton Hill Jr. Waydelle was the 4th child born to Mary Parolee Hill.He was the son of James Overton Hill, Jr. and Mary Parolee (Woolley) Woods Hill.

I'm researching to get more information on the child that was born alive to Mary Parolee Woolley, that later died. I don't know if the child's father was Degrafton Edward Woods or James Overton Hill Jr.

He married Ruth Elizabeth Timmons.

Mr Hill's cause of death was Congested Heart Failure & Arteriosclerotic Heart Disease with Diabetes Mellitus a Contributing Factor.

In 1908, Mr Hill came to Texas from Oklahoma in a covered wagon, a hack (a manned railroad car at the end of a train, a "caboose"), and a buggy (a carriage that is drawn by 1 horse). The real danger was quicksand, said Mr Hill.

They settled in San Angelo when he was 4. Mr Hill was a Carrier for the San Angelo Times. At 10, he went to work for a Drug Store as a Part Time Soda Dispenser. The 1920 Census has him working there at 15. That's when he decided he wanted to become a Pharmacist.

Mr Hill graduated from the University of Texas in Austin, Texas, in 1928 as a Registered Pharmacist.

He worked as a Registered Pharmacist in San Angelo, Texas, and moved from San Angelo to Del Rio and worked for Ross Drug Store for 12 years. On February 9, 1942, Mr Hill opened Prescription Laboratory with Partner Dick Reordan. A few years later, the Walgreen's Agency was added. In 1946, Mr Reordan took the Walgreen's Agency and Mr Hill became the sole owner of Prescription Laboratory. Mr Hill's pharmacy closed on March 25, 1974, the day after his death. He died in the evening, after he had worked all day and closed his store on March 24, 1974.

Mr Hill was one of the Founders and a Member of the San Felipe Country Club. From 1947 to 1969 (verified), he sponsored the Hill's Pills Bowling Team, and was a member of the team, for 22 years. He was a Member of the First Christian Church, and a Deacon.

Mr Hill was laid to rest in the now Historic Westlawn Cemetery in Del Rio, Val Verde County, Texas, USA. Ruth Elizabeth Hill, his wife, is buried in the Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, Eddy County, New Mexico, USA.
