MERIDIAN- Services for Spec. 4 Grade Floyd G. Savell of 2403 Empire Way, who died as a result of enemy action in Vietnam with the 101st Airbourne Division on Feb. 14, 1967, will be conducted with full military honors at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Robison Chapel of the Chimes, Meridian. Interment will be at the Meridian Cemetery.

He was born June 4, 1946 in Greenwood, Miss. He lived in Mississippi until 1961, when he moved to the Meridian area. He attended Meridian High School and joined the U.S. Army in September of 1965. He was a member of the Nazarene Church in Mississippi.

Survivors include his son, Stacy James Savell, of Horseshoe Bend, Ida.; his parents, Mr. James Savell, of Meridian, and Mrs. Minnie Lively, of Boise; two brothers, Bennie A.W. Savell, of Gulfport, Miss., and Thomas S. Savell, of Baton Rouge, La.; and four sisters, Mrs. Shirley Mae Lowe, of Jackson, Miss., Mrs. Mary A. Bishop, Mrs. Juanita McClure, and Mrs. Elizabeth Morris, all of Boise.
