MERIDIAN (Special) — Charles E. Cox, 74, a resident of Idaho for 43 years and a member of the Meridian city council for many years, died Sunday at his home here. He was born in Illinois and had lived In Ada county on a farm near here for the last 34 years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Cox; and four daughters, Mrs. Lester Shawl and Mrs. Dwight Gruber, both of Meridian, Mrs. Vern Caldwell of Portland and Miss Elm Cox of Portland. Services will be arranged by Mateer's.
