Solomon Miller, son of Elizabeth (Fouse) Miller and Abraham Miller, was born September 21, 1820. On February 2, 1847 he married Elizabeth Bishop, and settled on a farm near the parental homestead. They had four children: Ottilla, Jemmima, Nathaniel and Samuel C.
Mrs. Elizabeth Miller died on October 7, 1863, and on January 13, 1871, Mr. Miller married Mrs. Hettie A. Gibble. They had three children: Lyba, Robert and Vernon. Solomon resided on his farm until the time of his death, which occurred May 1, 1890. (additional information on the children is also given)
