Evon Harold Lane, 76, of Magee died March 19, 2005, at his residence. He was retired from the Department of Agriculture, State of Mississippi.
Funeral services were conducted on March 21 from the chapel of Tutor Funeral Home in Magee with interment in Shivers Cemetery, Shivers.
Servivors include his son, Rick Lane of Mendenhall; daughters, Beverly Rainey of Magee and Brenda Meriweather of Tupelo; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
