Mrs. Hilda Faye Ross, age 66, of North Biloxi, MS., joined her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, when she passed away on August 20, 2009.

Mrs. Ross was born in Whitley City, Kentucky, on April 17, 1943.She was a member of Cedar Lake Christian Assembly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James "Gib" Wilson and Gladys "Dean" Wilson and brother, Silas "Sonny" Wilson.

Survivors include her loving and dedicated husband of 47 years, James Michael Ross, two sons, David (Jeanette) Ross and Jeff Ross, all of Biloxi, MS., and daughter, Lisa Ross (Lonnie) Suarez, of Vancleave, MS. Mrs. Ross also leaves behind cherished memories in the hearts of her grandsons, Michael Louis (Kristen) Suarez, Jeffrey Ross, Jr., great-grandson, Austin Suarez, sisters, Shirley Ann Warren of Dunedin, Florida, Linda Lynch of Whitley City, KY, and Barbara Wilson of Corbin, KY, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Not only did Mrs. Ross share her love and devotion to family members and friends, for over 30 years she also played the role of Mamaw Ross to countless children with loving arms and warm smiles given at various preschools where she loved, taught and nurtured children. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be on Sunday, August 23, 2009, from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m., at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford- O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Monday, August 24, 2009, there will be a 10 a.m. chapel service in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
