CHRISTIANSBURG - Bertha M. Bowers, 75, died Sunday,April 4, 1999 at the New River Valley Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Rose Craighead, and a son, Larry Barnett.
Surviving are three daughters, Dorothy Lawson, Joyce Linkous,
both of Christiansburg; Shirley Hargis of Madison Heights; two sons, Charles Barnett and David Barnett Jr., both of Christiansburg; a sister, Irene Stump, Christiansburg; six grandchildren.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday from the Grace Assembly
of God, conducted by the Rev. Tim Osborne and Rev. Mike Bond. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Richardson- Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg.
