Miss Lillian B. Rogers, 85, of 5100 Sharon Rd. died Oct. 29, 1990, at Sharon Towers. Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Steele Creek Presbyterian Church, where she was a member. Burial will be 3:30 p.m. in Riverside Cemetery, Asheville. Visitation is 7 to 9 tonight at McEwen Funeral Home, Charlotte chapel.
Miss Rogers, an Asheville native, retired as a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools teacher after 42 years. She had taught at Berryhill, West Mecklenburg and Myers Park high schools and at Spaugh Junior High School. She was a Central High School and Duke University graduate and attended Queens College. At her church she was class pianist.
Surviving is her brother, Russell Rogers.
