Miss Rogers, an Asheville native, retired as a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools teacher after 42 years. She had taught at Berryhill, West Mecklenburg and Myers Park high schools and at Spaugh Junior High School. She was a Central High School and Duke University graduate and attended Queens College. At her church she was class pianist.
Surviving is her brother, Russell Rogers.
