Mr. Isbell


Irvin Isbell, 60, Tuscumbia, Rt. 4, died Sunday at 7 p.m. at Colbert County Hospital.


He was a native of Franklin County and had lived most of his life in Colbert County. He was a carpenter and a member of the Methodist Church.


Services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. from Mountain Home Baptist Church by Rev. Grady Newman and Rev. Frank Stone. Burial will be in Ferguson Cemetery, Morrison Elkins of Tuscumbia directing.


Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Carrie Isbell; three daughters, Mrs. Zula Barnett, Birmingham; Mrs. Eula Allen, Tuscumbia, Rt. 3; Mrs. Faye Jefferys, Town Creek, Rt. 3; two sons, Junior Lloyd, Muscle Shoals; Walker Harvey, Tuscumbia, Rt. 3; a sister, Mrs. Ida Kiser, Town Creek; a brother, Eston, Breckinridge, Tex., 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.


Bearers will be Roland Jackson, Jody Allen, Kenneth Barnett, Arnold, Jesse and Leroy Kiser.


The body will be at the residence of a daughter, Mrs. Pete Allen, Tuscumbia, Rt. 3, until time for services.
