A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Glen Oaks Memorial Park for Gladys Nelson who died on Friday, April 11, 2008 at the home of her son, Rev. Robert Seals.

She was born January 17, 1916 in Quitaque, Texas. Her first trip to California was in a covered wagon.

Gladys was a fun loving person that always brought a ray of sunshine to every one she met. She was a social butterfly that will always rest upon our shoulders.

Gladys married Alonzo Seals in Texas. After their divorce she married Tommy Nelson who was a radio announcer for KHSL for many years.

Her survivors include her daughter, Betty Turner; sons, Gary and Robert Seals; four grandchildren, Tammy Allendorf, Dalyn P. Seals, Gary D. Seals and Susan Hinton; three great- grandchildren and five great- great-grandchildren.

She loved smiley faces and we will really miss hers.
