James was the son of Joseph and Ada Butts Myers and he married Rachel Smeltzer. They are both buried at the Tuscarora Church. James and Rachel were married on Christmas Day Dec 25, 1894 by the Rev Charles S Trump. A cousin Mary Gordon and Charles A Hess were married the same day by the same preacher. Marys mother was Lucinda Gordon and Charles father was Baily and M. Hess.
