Funeral services were held on Saturday November, 5, at 2 p.m. at the Church of The Nazarene in Laona for Myrtle Stella Kimball, 80, who died at her home in Laona at 5 a.m. November 8.
Rev. Charles Murray officiated and burial was in Laona Cemetery. Visitation was after 2 p.m. Friday at Halverson Funeral Home, Crandon, and at the church in Laona from 9 a.m. until the hour of the services.
Palbearers were Walter Kimball, Ervin Cox, Ward Kimball Jr., James Kimball and Richard Steele.
Mrs. Kimball, the daughter of Nathan and Annie Webb was born August 26, 1886 at Waupaca. She was married to Walter Kimball January 9, 1904 at Whittenberg and came to Laona in 1914 from Eldron, Wisconsin. Mr. Kimball died December 24, 1953. She was a member of Church of the Nazerene in Laona. Mrs. Kimball raised one grandson Robert Kimball of Ripon, Wisconsin.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Cora) Hasely, Green Bay; Mrs. Harry (Phyllis) Bush, Laona; Mrs. Robin (Lucielle) Allen, Fon du Lac; Mrs. Harry (Marion) Suppanz, Sturgeon Bay; Mrs. Sterling (Eunice) Tipton, Laona: four sons, George, Fon du Lac; Raymond, Laona; Ward, Green Bay; Ervin, Ripon; three sisters, Mrs. Esther Lane, Laona; Mrs. Lucille Perkins, Reno, Nevada, Mrs. Lottie Taylor, Kimberly; one brother, Warren Webb, of Blackwell; 48 grandchildren and 50 great grandchildren.
She was preeceded in death by her parents, her husband, two daughters, one son, four brothers and three sisters.
