Wilbur L. Darst
Wilbur L. Darst Sr., 85, of Amanda, passed away Monday at Fairfield Medical Center. He was born April 16, 1918, in Franklin County and was the son of the late John and Annie Harter Darst. He retired in 1977 from Groveport Madison Schools where he was a boiler fireman.
He is survived by two sons, Wilbur L. (Darlene) Darst Jr. of Stoutsville and Curtis E. Darst of Waterbury, Conn. four daughters, Mary Louise (Gordon) Smith of Circleville, Bonnie (Dan) Hite of Warren, Nancy (William) Plum of Circleville and Miss Dorothy Darst of Canal Winchester 15 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Darst son, Danny Darst seven brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with the Rev. Paul Schindler officiating. Burial will be in Amanda Township Cemetery.
