Robert Flockhart March 3, 1921 - July 24, 2008. Robert was the son of Robert and Mary Flockhart, they moved to Grand Junction in 1923. Bob attended Grand Junction High School and Mesa College. He married Bettie Jenkins November 4, 1922; she preceded him in death April 20, 2008. He served in the military in the 9th Armored Division from 1941 to 1944 where he received the Bronze Star Medal and the Croix De Gurre arec Etoile De Bronze from the French government. Bob retired from Aspen Ski Corp in 1986 and assist chief of the Snowmass Wildcat Fire Department. Bob leaves behind two sons Robert F. (Sandy) Flockhart of Fort Collins, Colorado and William M. Flockhart of Roseville, California; one daughter Mary E. Inglesbe of Grand Junction, Colorado; four grandchildren, Jessica Ingalsbe, Brian Flockhart, Sarah Flockhart and William Flockhart as well as five great grandchildren; Summer, Rachell, Hutson, Gus and Rigg. A private family service will be held at a later date.
